Judan Ali's First Game with Grays Athletic Women's XI a Success

Judan Ali's Grays Athletic Women's Team Draw 2-2 Away to a Team Placed 2 Leagues and 3 Divisions Above Them

Harlow Women's Team.
Judan Ali's first game in charge of the Grays Athletic Women's Team was a friendly game away against Harlow's Town Ladie's XI. The result was a fantastic 2-2 draw.

Observers said the technical gap between Harlow FC and Ali's Grays Athletic Womens team was 2 leagues or 3 divisions apart; like Dagenham Redbridge, who play in English football league 2nd tier, drawing away against West Ham.

The 2 goals scorers for Blues were 2 Brazilian Strikers who were on trial whom integrated well with the team since joining training a few days before the match.

Notable players were; Evie (16 years old) who Ali said was “Levels above the rest on the day" and goalkeeper, Emily, after joining the team recently.  Millie, Captain Blaize and Kelsey ran the show in midfield with Daisy and Christyana controlling things on the left, central defensive newcomers Charlotte and former Czech Republic international Hanicka marshalled the areas in front of Emily.

Ali said “This is a monumental effort from the players and I am super proud of them playing well out of their comfort zones and with zero experience even at this level."
Richmond.
Judan Ali's Blues next game is Sunday 19th June 2022 against Richmond FC Womens first team. The Richmond side have also been promoted to the same tier level as Grays Athletic womens as they were champions of their division.

Grays Athletic have two friendlies lined up in the near future with West Ham United Women's team so there is growing momentum.
